Download TagAlert, verify with a phone number, done. You don't sign in again unless you change devices.
Register your item
Give it a name — "Sarah's water bottle," "Work laptop," "Cabin bag." Each item gets a unique QR code.
Print & attach
Pick a print size, print at home, and stick or laminate the tag onto the item. Weatherproof if the item lives outdoors.
Receive the alert
When someone finds it and scans, you get the ping instantly. Meet them wherever's convenient. Recover your item without exchanging phone numbers.

TagAlert was built with the same non-negotiable as vAlert: whoever scans your tag learns absolutely nothing about you. Not a name, not a number, not an address. They get one message: "the owner has been notified." That's enough.

What kinds of things can I tag?
Anything you can stick a small sticker to. Bags, bottles, laptops, phones, keys, bikes, suitcases, tools, sports gear, pet collars — even toys. If it can be lost and found, it can be tagged.
Do finders need the TagAlert app?
No. That's the point. Any phone camera opens the QR-linked page and the finder can send the alert in one tap. The app is only for tag owners.
How much does a tag cost?
Nothing to create. TagAlert operates on a small credit system so alerts can be delivered reliably. Every registered tag starts with free credits.
How does the finder contact me?
They don't — directly. They scan the tag; you get a notification. You then choose to meet, message, or ignore. Your contact details stay hidden.
Can I delete a tag or my account?
Yes — both, at any time, from within the app. Deletion is permanent and removes your data, except where retention is legally required.
Does it work outside India?
Yes. TagAlert works anywhere a data connection is available and supports global country codes for verification.
